Travel Washington

Let us not forget the unforgettable state of Washington. As you travel onward to the Northwest corner of this US of A be sure to observe all that Washington has to offer the visitor.

Not to be outdone, Washington, too, has mountains, trees, sunshine and snow. But Washington also has an abundance of Islands.

Puget Sound is literally loaded with islands just waiting for visitors to discover them and everything they hold.

The San Juan Islands are located in the area and are an amazement of water activities and many other pleasing attractions. One can water ski in any of the many lakes and fish the rivers and streams.

Washington State has a lot more to offer than the average visitor can see. Most vacations are just not long enough to enjoy it all.

In the mountains you can do a whole vacations worth of hiking and mountain climbing in the summer and a lot of snow skiing in the winter. A number of ski slopes and ski jumps are home to Northern Washington.

And it is all there for the enjoyment of any and all visitors and residents.

While you are in Washington be sure to take in the sight from the Space Needle located in Seattle. The Space Needle was erected in the early 1960's as a part of the Worlds Fair and has been a visitors favorite ever since.

Seattle is one of the largest cities in the state and boast a vast array of history of its own. There is the seaboard and the industrial parks plus many fine restaurants. If you are hungry there is end to the different kinds of cuisine one has the opportunity of experiencing.

There is just too much going on in Washington for me to tell it all. You just GOTTA see it.
